Our Goals and Commitment

The King William Green Initiative is a program designed to enhance the energy efficiency of historic homes while preserving their architecture integrity. By providing resources, guidance, and incentives for homeowners, the initiative promotes sustainable practices that reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. The program also fosters community awareness and appreciation for the importance of maintaining both heritage and environmental responsibility.

To engage our King William community in our new Green Initiative, we will host four monthly workshops during our General Membership Meetings focused on water conservation, energy efficiency, recycling and drought tolerant landscaping. We aim to empower residents with the knowledge and tools to adopt environmentally friendly practices and support sustainable living.

Solid Waste Management’s vision is to provide reliable collection and sustainable services to the community with safety and professionalism. Their team works together to protect the environment and keep the city healthy. They are committed to create a cleaner and safer environment for San Antonio.
