Gather your friends and family for this holiday tradition and take this opportunity to view the beautiful homes of King William as residents welcome you to Texas' first residential historic district.
The King William Association is hosting its 2025 Holiday Home Tour featuring historic King William homes (residences and one museum). Tickets will soon be available to purchase ahead of time online. Additional tickets can be purchased on Tour Day at the King William Association office, 122 Madison St., for $25 per person. A reception will also be provided from 11am-5pm at America’s Walking Club, 1032 S. Alamo St.
The King William Association hosts the Holiday Home Tour welcoming more than 1,000 attendees to this beloved holiday tradition. The Home Tour is a fundraiser of the Association whose mission is to promote the health and welfare of the King William neighborhood by preserving the historic and residential nature of the neighborhood and by fostering educational, recreational, and cultural activities. Sponsorships and proceeds from the Home Tour help fund our operating budget and continue our mission in historic King William.

Volunteer
This is a special opportunity to welcome neighbors and visitors, celebrate the season, and share the beauty and history of King William homes.
House Manager: Oversees operations, including the flow of visitors.
Docents: Volunteers stationed in rooms, sharing history and details. Work in 2-hour shifts (or longer if preferred). Homeowners may also recruit their own friends/family for these roles.
Rest stop provided at America’s Walking Club office, 1032 S. Alamo St., with restroom and refreshments.

Tour Information
On Tour Day: You MUST first check-in at the King William Association office, 122 Madison St., to receive your Holiday Home Tour brochure, which is your ticket giving you entry into the featured homes. Check-in begins at 10:30am.
Redeem QR code for Brochure/Ticket: At the King William Association office, show your QR code proof of purchase (this was emailed to you after your online ticket purchase) to receive your brochure/ticket to enter the homes. The brochure is your ticket to enter the participating homes, not the QR code, so please come to the King William Association office first. The brochure has a map, list of home tour addresses and history of each home on the tour.
Homes: Docents will be stationed inside each home giving a brief history as you tour. The entire tour includes entry inside tour homes, and you are welcome to visit them at your own pace throughout Tour Day, 11am-5pm. Guests will be given booties to wear throughout the homes, and docents will check off your brochure/ticket as you enter each home. Need holiday gift ideas? Merchandise, including the popular King William Area and Acequia Madre books, will be available for purchase at the King William Association office.
Tour Day Reception: Enjoy a reception at America's Walking Club, 1032 S. Alamo St. before or after your tour! The reception will be open 10:30am-5pm on Tour Day.
Parking: Street parking is available throughout the King William neighborhood. Please follow Texas law parking restrictions. Parking is also available at the San Antonio Alliance of Teachers parking lot, 217 Mission St. Three golf carts will shuttle guests who need special accommodations or who have disabilities preventing them from walking/driving the tour.
Rest Area: Restrooms will be available at America's Walking Club, 1032 S. Alamo St.
Tour Policies:
Children 5 years and under are allowed free entry with adult paid admission
Attendees are welcome to visit the participating homes at your own pace, in any order
No strollers allowed inside the homes, and babies must be carried at all times in the homes
No interior photos are allowed
No food/drink allowed inside the homes
No smoking/vaping allowed
No pets allowed
